I hold a bachelor’s degree in journalism with concentrations in English and secondary education from Indiana University Bloomington. My career spans more than 25 years and includes reporting, advertising, PR, corporate & nonprofit communications, management, teaching, publishing and marketing.

The professional role I am most proud of, though, is my volunteer service with The Lincoln Funeral Train. It is an ongoing endeavor that perfectly pairs my journalism background with my lifelong passion for studying and teaching about Abraham Lincoln.
